After receiving her dental degree from the University of Delhi in 1991 and a master’s degree and certificate in Operative Dentistry from the University of Iowa in 1997, Dr. Jain joined Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine as Assistant Professor in 1997 and earned the rank of full Professor in 2012. After serving as Course Director for numerous courses and serving as Director of Community Dentistry for about 10 years, Dr. Jain joined A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2016 where she served as Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs and Advanced Dental Education for more than eight years.

After practicing in Litchfield and Edwardsville from 1998, Dr. Poonam Jain founded Staunton Family Dentistry in 2007. At Staunton Family Dentistry, we focus on providing personalized comprehensive dental services for the entire family, using the latest advanced technology. The office provides a comfortable space for patients while they wait and obtain dental care.

Dr. Jain is an active and committed member of the community. She was a dedicated girl scout leader and service unit director for more than 15 years and served as the founding president of the ITS Bike Trail Committee. She has served on the Staunton School Board since 2019. Dr. Jain is proud to call Staunton home and provide the highest quality dental services for the community.

Raised in Staunton, Dr. Kadambari Jain Sneath attended Staunton Schools from Kindergarten to High School and graduated as a valedictorian in 2010. She went on to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2010-2014) to earn her Bachelor’s degree with a major in Molecular and Cell Biology. Dr. Kadambari Sneath then joined Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL, earning her D.M.D. in 2018. She did not stop there and went on to advanced dental training, completing a General Practice Residency at St. John’s Mercy in St. Louis in 2019.

Dr. Kadambari Jain Sneath brings her expertise in implant and digital dentistry, restorative and surgical procedures as well as root canal treatments and sleep apnea devices to Staunton Family Dentistry as well as her deep sense of compassion and community.

Dr. Sneath regularly participates in various community events, including Trunk and Treat, Christmas Walk and provides oral health education for preschoolers. She is a devoted mother of two young children and enjoys working out and cooking. We are indeed fortunate to have Dr. Sneath at Staunton Family Dentistry!
